Fixed term contract to 31st March 2024.
1 x 37 hour or 2 x 18.5 hour posts considered.

We are looking for an Engagement Officer(s) to work on an exciting new Programme - Farming in Protected Landscapes (FiPL). Created by Defra announced in the Agricultural Transition Plan, managed by the PDNPA FiPL will help farmers, land managers and others to deliver work on the farmed landscape under the themes of climate, nature, people and place.

The FiPL Engagement Officer will provide advice and guidance to applicants and assist the Lead Engagement Officer to support a local panel created to assess applications. You’ll need to have considerable experience of working with farmers and land managers, a good knowledge of conservation, upland land management and access and familiarity with current agri-environment schemes. The role will be based at our offices in Bakewell, with flexibility for home working.
