GK Apprenticeships are currently recruiting on behalf of CloudBridge Technologies Ltd for their office based in London, CloudBridge are looking for two apprentices. During this apprenticeship you will be engaging with customers in regards to helping them solve their issues and working with a team of engineers whilst expand on your knowledge around AWS and other cloud environments such as Azure and Google Cloud Platform. This is a very exciting company who have offices dotted all over the UK as well as the Philippines. CloudBridge is a very fast paced company that provide tons of support and lots of opportunity for growth! CloudBridge do expect all candidates to be able to attend the office at least two days a week.
Role Key Objectives:
• Be part of the company operational and support department helping deliver service excellence to customers and internal teams.
• Engage with the customer and internal teams to present and deliver technical answers and solutions to problems.
• Produce technical FAQ’s and reference documents.
• Investigate and implement automation, time-saving and efficiency tools and approaches where possible.
• Adhere to Cloud-Bridge’s Policies, Procedures and Values.
Essential Skills:
• Experience of working in a support based role.
• Demonstrable AWS skills.
• Understanding of cloud services and infrastructure components (IAAS/PAAS)
• Solid technical troubleshooting skills
• Excellent documentation skills across technical and operational process areas
• Strong time and task management with the ability to manage multiple simultaneous tasks
• Strong interpersonal skills with experience in a customer-facing role
• An engaging and 'can do' attitude.
• Willingness to learn on the job.
Desirable Skills:
• Current valid AWS certification or speciality certifications
• Knowledge and experience with scripting e.g. Powershell, ASP.NET, NodeJS.
• Exposure to other cloud environments such as Azure, Google Cloud Platform or private clouds
• Experience working within an IT Services or Managed Services provider
• Backup and disaster recovery experience to and/or within the cloud
