GK Apprenticeships are now looking for two Technical Sales Apprentices to join Global Knowledge for a 15 month apprenticeship to gain a Level 3 Technical Sales Apprenticeship qualification.

Apprenticeships are one of the most effective ways to develop a rewarding career and are the only real way to earn while you learn. While others spend years just gaining qualifications, you’ll have the practical experience and workplace knowledge to support your learning and will be ahead in more ways than one.
Your Future Career and Earning Prospects
Once you’ve completed your apprenticeship, it is highly likely that you’ll be able to join Global Knowledge on a full-time basis. You’ll have a starting basic salary of £20,000 per annum – if you work hard and hit your targets, you’ll be able to earn £50,000+ within three years of completing your apprenticeship.
Your Role
As a Technical Sales Apprentice, you’ll take on a 15 month apprenticeship where you will work towards gaining a Level 3 Technical Sales qualification.
You’ll learn all the aspects and nuances of sales and how to succeed in this industry. This will cover the whole pre-sales process, which will include prospecting, using LinkedIn tools to identify potential customers and following up with customers after live or virtual events.
Some of your key objectives will include:
- Generating sales leads for the Sales Team
- Achieving performance targets
- Following up business opportunities and tasks
- Supporting Account and Sales Managers with ongoing projects
Additionally, your areas of responsibility will include:
- Making calls, sending emails and messages on LinkedIn to customers
- Introducing the company and adding customers to a booking system
- Ensuring the leads you generate are followed up by the Sales Team
- Providing information around the company, products and services to support sales
- Producing and circulating reports
About You
To be considered as a Technical Sales Apprentice, you will need:
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office software such as Word, Outlook and Excel
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Experience of working in a sales environment or an understanding of IT would be beneficial to your application. Experience in an IT sales environment would also be highly desirable.
